Whatever Happened To The WATER/FUEL Idea?

I was reading about a guy that drove a gas powered DUNE BUGGY from Santa Monica,Calif to OHIO on WATER to HYDROGEN to FUEL assortment. WHAT HAPPENED??

You can ot run a car on water.
This will not befall the entire thing is a load of crap.
Do you really think that if it was possible and they had a working epitome that they would not be selling the hell out of that car.
