Hypothetically the device seperates the water into a gas, HHO, then the gas is fed into the engine to supplement the gasoline being burned.

water can be simply separated into hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen is extremely flammable. Some people think that separating it , and adding it to your intake air rush is helpfull...but I dont think it has much effect (if any) on mileage.

Well you're all asperse I installed it in my 76 mustang with a 302 ci that got 13 mpg and now it gets 18 to 20 with a 4 barrel 600 cfm carb. I only paid $8.99 for the handbook. I Got 3 manuals.
