Since our vehicles are over 10 years old, I've been spending a not much more than we would like to maintain them.
With all of the hype about the Cash for Clunkers program and the possibility of saving up to $9,000, I recently visited Tate Chrysler to have a look at a new minivan. As the saying goes — "if you snooze, you be beaten.
The salesman said that all that he had left were two, fully loaded Town and Country minivans.
All of the root ones sold out within a few days of the start of the program.
Assuming a "fox and the grapes" attitude, I drove away reasoning that it was probably a good thing that there weren't any left.
However, last Tuesday morning, a fellow commuter drove up in a polished new Hyundai that he purchased under the "Cash for Clunkers" program.
He said that he had an old pick-up truck that got bad gas mileage and was getting costly to repair, so he did a little research and found that the truck was eligible.
This renewed my interest so I did some research
