For Latinos, Going To Dentist Is No Laughing (Gas) Matter
16.06.10

President Obama's Healthiness Care legislation begins a change in the way Latino Americans receive and think about robustness care. In the continuing debate, hopefully, one part of the health coverage must not be over looked - dentistry.
Successful to the dentist is thought of as a luxury instead of a necessary health issue. Dentures, braces and extractions are sometimes seen as extravagances to the customary apparatus we use to eat food. But, considering what we as Latino Americans put into our mouths, it's a miracle our teeth aren't rotting faster. With the ascent of diabetes come severe challenges for good dental hygiene. Smokers, wine and coffee drinkers will more and more have to bleach their teeth. Studies have shown that there's a tie between good dental hygiene and heart disease. And everyone wants a winning smile.
At the impressive NYU School of Dentistry, students work with dentist professors to learn the fundamentals and basics of caring and treating patients.
