Water In The Fuel Filter And Lines?

With a fuel injected car can water get into the petrol anywhere other than the padding tank? ie lines head radiator etc

Sunken tanks usually have a small quantity of water in them and should be checked frequently for this.A green coloured paste is spread on the bottom of the tank dip gore which changes colour to white when in contact with water to show the depth of water

I Put Diesel Fuel Into My Unleaded Car. What Do I Do?

I put about 6 litres diesel fuel in my unleaded barina. I asked them to cyphon it but a mechanic working at the employment station told me to fill the tank with unleaded and the diesel will dilute and work its way out of the car. It was a bit smoky to

i heard that drygas wil nick eliminate this problem along with new fuel filters and a new fuel pump. i live in the midlands near derby and have no inkling where i could get some drygas from. where can i get it from? + how much would it cost to get drygas?

It is very apt to if you let your tank go with less than half full for very long. Every night the tank gets condensation (water) forming on it's sides from the changes in temperature. Keeping the tank as full as plausible leaves little room for condensation

It wasn't theoretical to happen so quickly.

But the development of aviation biofuels has occurred at a speed that has surprised everyone.

No more than a few years ago, aviation biofuel looked to be decades away. But with outside pressure edifice on the aviation industry to reduce its carbon footprint, the Boeing Co. and others in the industry banded together to accelerate up on, said Mary Armstrong, Boeing's vice president of environment, health and shelter.

“We can't electrify an airplane the way we can a car,” she said.

That means the industry always will be dependent on some form of fuel — petroleum or bush-based. The aviation industry represents only about 2 percent of the world's carbon emissions. Still, Armstrong said, the dynamism is stepping up to do its part.

A few additional factors have helped kick biofuels research into high tools, including the availability of petroleum-based fuel and its price, said Darrin Morgan, who directs
