Learn About Bottled Water's Negative Impact on the Locale
6,000 empty water bottles were used in this giant water bottle walk-through display. The empty bottles are a visual of how much bottled water 5 familes exhaust on average in one year, each family using one 24-pack per week.
This display is called "Take Back the Tap: Care for Our Environment." The design was a collaboration of two landscape designers, Debra Ensteness and Sheila Hawthorne. Students at Pine Angle and Salem Hills Elementary Schools in Inver Grove Heights also helped team up on the project.
